Accessibility and Inclusion

We have commenced planning and are collecting feedback to support and guide the development of the LCP Accessiblity and Inclusion Action Plan.

​

This important work will continue in 2023-2024 in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders, as we progress towards setting plan goals and the development of our plan.

Lithgow Cares

Lithgow Cares is a collaboration of local service providers whose focus is on building a positive community, strengthening families, and enhancing the safety of community members of maintaining a strong commitment towards child protection and a reduction of domestic and family violence. 

 

Current participants of the committee include: Lithgow Community Projects, Lithgow Information and Neighbourhood Centre, Lithgow Council, Benevolent Society, NSW Health, Thrive Services, Housing Plus, Centacare Bathurst Hippi Program, DV West, Central Tablelands Blue Mountains Community Legal Centre and Department Communities and Justice. 

 

The committee's activities in the past have focused on delivering community awareness campaigns, undertaking community engagement activities and supporting the promotion of collaboration and best practice amongst service providers.
